Quality Certification of an Airport is applied, following the completion of the World Airport Audit studies, with the airport subjected to the most exacting Quality inspections and evaluation across all aspects of their front-line Product and Service standards.

The 4-Star Airport Ranking for Abu Dhabi International Airport was presented at the World Airport Awards event in Vienna on 19th April 2012. The 4-Star Airport ranking recognises the continued improvement in Abu Dhabi International Airport facilities and service standards.
