The 4-Star Airport Ranking for Abu Dhabi International Airport was presented at the World Airport Awards event in Vienna,. Austria. The 4-Star Airport ranking recognises the continued improvement in Abu Dhabi International Airport facilities and service standards.

The 5-Star Airline Ranking renewal for 2012 of Chinese carrier, Hainan Airlines was presented at a special ceremony in Beijing. After becoming the first airline in mainland China to be awarded the honour in 2011, Hainan Airlines has enhanced the quality of service, including cabin and ground services, while maintaining high standards in service as a 5-Star airline

SKYTRAX presented the 4-Star Airport Ranking to Mr Sun Li (right) President of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport Company at a ceremony held at Terminal 2 of Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. Airport Star Ranking applies an internationally recognised evaluation system to assess the front-line quality standards across each airport's operations.
