respected awards

The World Airline Awards is a non-profit section of Skytrax business, created to ensure an ethical and independent awards process. Edward Plaisted of Skytrax: “we said at the launch of our awards procedures many years ago that we were providing a global awards programme for the airline industry that was not commercially influenced, and this remains a core guarantee. There are many travel awards that demand entrance or subscription fees, or charge award winners to attend the presentation event, but Skytrax have always refused to allow such elements of commercial bias to impact our very open procedures, which have been independently audited.”
